Description
Bracken Herringbone is the herringbone cut of Bracken, a medium-light European oak from the Cedar & Tide Rainforest collection. Each piece is 4.72″ wide and 23.62″ long, wire-brushed, with a matte finish and a micro bevel on all four sides. It’s a character grade, so expect filled knots and plenty of movement from board to board.
The boards are engineered: a 3 mm dry-sawn oak top layer on a hardwood plywood core, 9/16″ (14 mm) thick overall. Herringbone goes down with glue only, and it can be installed above, on or below grade. Glued down, it’s approved over in-floor radiant heat.
